About the Author

James Scott Bell (www.jamesscottbell.com) is the author of the Write Great Fiction: Plot & Structure, a top-selling WDB title and a contributing editor to Writer’s Digest magazine. He is also the author of more than fifteen novels and a Christy Award winner for Final Witness. In addition, he has been a fiction columnist for Writer’s Digest magazine since 2003, and he wrote the curriculum for two Writers Online Workshops, including Creating Dynamic Characters and Writing Effective Dialogue. He currently teaches fiction writing courses at Pepperdine University and is a regular on the conference circuit, speaking at such conferences as the Mid-Atlantic Writers Conference, Glorieta Christian Writers Conference, and the Jerry B. Jenkins Christian Writers Guild Conference.
